A body at rest has time to restore.
Healing Touch
Healing Touch (HT) grew out of the nursing practice of Janet Mentgen, BSN, RN, and further developed in the Healing Touch Certificate Program by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) in 1989. It is a compilation of the work of many different healers.
Healing Touch is a non-profit professional membership organization, whose mission is to spread Healing, Light and Love by restoring wholeness to the Earth through heart-centered practice and the teaching of
Healing Touch.
Healing Touch practitioners follow a rigorous course of training and is practiced worldwide and is offered in a variety of settings such as hospitals, spas, retreats, hospices, long-term facilities and alongside hospice care.
"Healing Touch is a biofield therapy that is an energy-based approach to health and healing.
Healing Touch is a complementary therapy and works in harmony with standard medical care."
Shamanic Reiki
"Shamanic Reiki blends the timeless wisdom of two ancient healing traditions. Shamanism taps the power
and energy of nature and expanded spiritual realities to encourage harmony for individuals and communities. Reiki focuses the universal life force energy to restore balance for ourselves and others. Separately,
shamanism and Reiki offer powerful ways to heal. When these two methods are combined, their
healing powers are multiplied."
Sound Bath Experience
A Sound Bath uses different instruments to bring healing and restoration to the body because of the deep state of relaxation that happens when you go into Theta State - "the state in which the mind is receptive to
growth and restoration." The vibrations that come from the instruments affect your parasympathetic nervous system allowing you to go into a state of deep rest and relaxation allowing space for healing to occur by slowing our brainwaves and allowing our bodies to experience rest..
Our bodies respond to the vibrations of different sounds or frequencies. A Sound Bath immerses us in these vibrations by utilizing various instruments (chimes, Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, tongue drums, etc...).
This creates a deeply meditative state.
"The medicine of the future will be music and sound." Edgar Cayce
"Sound meditation is a practice that replaces the noise pollution of the modern world with
healing reverberations." Pilar Guzman/Travel & Leisure/Nov. 2021
